Calvary Baptist Church

Founded in 1890, the Calvary Baptist church is the oldest Black church in Spokane Washington. The Calvary Baptist Church Choir was influential and performed at the 1974 Worlds Fair in Spokane.

The massing and materials of the 1927 Church are intact. The stained glass windows date from between 1975 to 1979. These windows have acquired significance over time and the installation was part of the 80th anniversary celebration of the church.
